The total capacity of our cylinders ranges from 7 to 4.000 m3 depending on the diameter (ranging from 3 m to 30,5m) and the height (from 1,25m to 12m). Check the Sizes and Capacities Table. In order to obtain the desired capacity within a limited space, the warehouses are alined and connected with each others.

The tanks are made of galvanized iron sheets (2,5m Height and 1,25 width) that overlap one with each other. The sheets, whose thickness depends on the diameter and the height of the warehouse, are made in compliance with the norms EN 10142 and EN 10111 1998. The iron panels are pierced in their whole circumference to avoid unnecessary mechanization. The sheets are bolted together with specific screws set out with the round head inside and the nut outside.

The inner surface (made with putty) is coated with a bituminous black painting that protects the sheet from being in direct contact with the water. It also darkens the inside to prevent the apparition of microorganisms. In case of potable water or waters with high corrosion levels, the interior side is covered with a plastic covering of polyurethane that has high resistance to abrasion.

The contours and the sheets ranging from 2mm to 3mm undergo a galvanization treatment that exceeds 275 grs of zinc per m2, in compliance with the norm EN 10142. the other pieces: sheets ranging over 3mm, screws, ladders, bridles… are hot-dip galvanized, in compliance with the norms UNE EN ISO 1461.
